Karen has been an avid student, and later, a teacher, of the Chen Pan-Ling Taijiquan Form since 1988. The personal benefits gained from her experiences influenced her decision to teach Taijiquan to all that are interested.
Karen is a past treasurer and secretary of the Rochester T’ai Chi Ch’uan Center, (in NY), and currently is a Director for the Phoenix T’ai Chi Ch’uan Center.

Karen has been certified to teach Four Directions (T'ai Chi Qigong) and the Short Form. Karen has taught T’ai Chi Ch’uan in many Continuing Education venues, as well as at the T’ai Chi Ch’uan Centers. She has also conducted demonstrations at elementary schools, (for Chinese Week), community colleges, business meetings, and shopping malls, etc.
Karen’s philosophy is that almost everyone can learn T’ai Chi Ch’uan, and can benefit from continual practice. However, it is up to each individual to decide when they are ready to learn. Only then will they realize the benefits that the practice of T’ai Chi Ch’uan can offer.
